Hi all - I am proud to share that Connie (my twin sister - for those who don't know her) has taken up the challenge to rasie money and particpate in the 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer, November 21-23, 2008, sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Heidi did this event last year - it takes a huge commitment of time to train for an event such as this. The sacafice of time in order to be in the best shape possible is daunting at best. I know from Heidi's expereince that she took away many great memories and met some new and interesting folks.
We all know one or more people who have been impacted by breast cancer. (I am sad to say that my list continues to grow.) Finding a cure takes the support and effort of a great many people. Please support Connie in her effort to complete this endeavor by helping her raise the $2,200 necessary for participation.
