It is hard to say who is more blessed - the human who is lucky to find a loving 4-legged companion who loves unconditionally with all their heart, or the furry 4-legged who is lucky to find a human family to be a part of - I think it is both, for surely both lives are enriched beyond measure. I loved her.
Sometimes so quiet. The little whitish puppy who laid down on our floor.
Almost un-Golden like, so stoic.
A hoodlum, goofball. She stole food shamelessly off our plates or off the counter next to me.
She indulged me when I compulsively, gleefully cleaned her ears.
I woke up thinking about her. Went to bed thinking of her.
She has left her mark in the world.
